Over the course of 21 years, Mrs. Reem Darwish from the village of Al-Somaa in the countryside of Safita, Tartous, succeeded in marketing the products of her own project of various kinds of supplies, driven by her love for work, the trust of customers and the support of parents.
Darwish, 53, or Danny’s mother, as she is called, told SANA reporter that she started working with the aim of filling her spare time and offering some products as gifts to relatives and friends, but after her products were admired, she turned her work into a project that provides all the household supplies needed, where she started with pomegranate molasses and apple cider vinegar and then expanded Work to include all types of supplies, such as olives, jams, pickles, all kinds of molasses, thyme, makdous and labneh.
Darwish explained that her household products are free of preservatives and colourings, and most of them are made from milk derivatives. She also reviewed her experience in the manufacture of medicinal oils, especially capybar root oil, and in cultivating saffron, which she started two years ago and wants to expand as a result of the demand for it, its ease of disposal and its acceptable price, which constitutes a good financial return for her family.
She pointed out that she is currently attending with her family to plant the Damascene rose and some aromatic plants to be the beginning of the aromatic medicinal plants distillation project, indicating that she markets her products through social media and sells them inside and outside Syria.
