Maan Al-Rashed is considered one of the distinguished experiences in the field of Syrian football, as he scored and made many goals during his sports career.

Al-Rashed, 42, was not a stranger to the football atmosphere since he was young, according to his statement to SANA reporter. His father is the former international player Jumaa Al-Rashed, who represented Al-Ittihad Club, the Army team and the men’s national team on several occasions, as well as his brother Yahya, the international player who also played for Al-Ittihad and Al-Jaish clubs and the national team .

The beginning of Maan Al-Rashed’s sports career was according to his speech in 1990 at Al-Ittihad Club, adding: “I graduated in its age groups, and during my participation in the men’s category, I won the championship title with the club and moved to the Army team for two seasons and joined Al-Majd Club in 2002 and returned to Al-Ittihad again in 2004 and we won the League Championship and the Cup Championship The 2005-2006 season and I was invited to represent the national team in the Arab Championship, and we qualified for the fourth round.”

Al-Rashed continued, "I moved with a professional contract to the Jordanian Al-Wehdat Club in the 2008-2009 season, during which we won the shield and super championship titles and the refreshing championship title.

Al-Rashed represented the national teams in 35 matches, where he played for the youth, Olympic and men’s teams, and after a busy career in the stadiums, he moved to training after undergoing training courses in categories (C), (D), (B) and (A). He trained the Al-Majd club’s men’s team as an assistant coach for three years. The Governorate Club, and with these teams, achieved advanced positions in a number of tournaments, in addition to being called to train the Syrian youth team.

Al-Rashed is currently the coach of the Al-Ittihad club's men, after he took over the task of coaching the club's youth last season.
