Mexican soccer has gotten out of hand for Santiago Solari.

The Argentine strategist has been fired from America, the most media club in Mexico.

The Argentine received at the end of 2020 the second opportunity to be in charge of an absolute team.

The first was Real Madrid in 2019, then the Mexican team.

Solari (Rosario, 45 years old) had done a splendid job in his first three short tournaments.

In the first, even with the fresh move, he led the team to third place in the general table (32 points).

His direct ticket to the quarterfinals gave the board peace of mind, but in the league the most irregular team can throw out the most consistent.

So it happened.

The Chivas de Guadalajara took out his wallet (1-3, global), a wound in the azulcrema pride.

The following tournament greased the machine for their squad to get their chest out and led them to be the second best (38 points).

The same thing happened: in the league he ran into eighth place in the standings and had trouble winning.

Pachuca gave the surprise by overwhelming Solari's boys and staying with the pass to the semifinals thanks to the away goal (5-5).

Even the Liga MX regulations were modified so that the away goal would no longer count after what happened to América.

Solari, touched by the two eliminations, returned to bet on his own.

In the third tournament, his eagles took the overall lead (35 points).

And as if it were a premeditated misfortune, another team that he suffered during the tournament, the UNAM Pumas (eleventh place in the table), gave him a hard blow.

In October, the Argentine's strategies let the ticket to the Club World Cup slip away.

This year the pressure began to devour Solari's mind with eight games directed, four defeats, three draws and only one victory.

The last game he coached ended in a tie in added time against Querétaro (1-1) in a saddened Azteca stadium.

“We offer the most sincere apologies to the azulcremas.

The performance of the team in this tournament has not represented the greatness of our history, ”reads the statement of Solari's dismissal.

The Argentine tried to lift the club after the departure of Miguel

Piojo

Herrera, the most successful strategist in America.

He asked the directors to sign Álvaro Fidalgo, a footballer trained at Real Madrid Castilla, and they complied.

They also listened to him by signing the Spanish defender Jorge Meré, but the fans did not forgive him for his clash with one of the Mexican pearls, Sebastián Córdova, who ended up leaving.

In the same week, Javier Aguirre, the most international Mexican coach, was also fired from the Rayados de Monterrey for leaving them in position 15 out of 18 and for an embarrassing role in the Club World Cup where they were eliminated in the first round by a team riddled with casualties.
