Professionally, DSDS juror Florian Silbereisen could hardly be better at the moment.
But privately, the pop singer now has to take a severe setback.
A malignant tumor was discovered in his father.
With DSDS, the dream ship and "Schlager oder N!xxx" Florian Silbereisen (40, all news on the topic page) can be seen on numerous TV shows in the coming weeks.
The 40-year-old is not only indispensable in the hit world.
But not everything is going smoothly for him.
The hit star recently received bad news from his father, as reported by tz.de.

Pop star Florian Silbereisen more in demand than ever
Florian Silbereisen is currently working for DSDS.
In the casting show he took the place of Dieter Bohlen (68) and is now the head of the jury.

The pop singer is currently at the other end of the world.
In Mauritius he shoots for the ZDF dream ship.

Florian Silbereisen worried: emergency surgery for his father Franz
Florian Silbereisen's father Franz (74) was hospitalized because of severe internal bleeding, reports Bild.de.
The 74-year-old therefore has to undergo emergency surgery.
The diagnosis was then made during a colonoscopy:
the doctors discovered a malignant tumor
.
Florian Silbereisen confirmed this worrying message at the request of Bild.de.

"Despite all the difficulties, there is still hope," Florian Silbereisen is certain.
After all, the tumor has not spread and is to be surgically removed in the next few days.
His dad is also confident.
He's already busy phoning his neighbors and friends in Tiefenbach, Lower Bavaria.
Despite his parents' divorce in 2004, the Silbereisen family sticks together.
Florian Silbereisen is the youngest of five children.
With him, his brothers Rainer and Franz as well as his sisters Helga and Sarina stand by the head of the family.
