This evening, the activities of the University Excellence Forum were inaugurated under the title “Your Ambition.. Excellence,” which is held by the National Union of Syrian Students at the University of Aleppo. Over the course of three days, it discusses several topics dealing with the active roles of outstanding students, university life, opportunities, challenges, and the future in the eyes of the distinguished and their success stories.

Dareen Suleiman, President of the National Union of Syrian Students, stated during the opening speech that today’s meeting with students is vital, renewable and supportive, and sows hope and brings together distinguished among them from various Syrian universities who have achieved this despite the difficult conditions that Syria is going through, calling on the audience to actively participate in the dialogue sessions of the forum to develop it and come up with results. Positive effects on students.

She added: The convening of the forum in its second edition is a message to the world that the Syrian youth will remain distinguished and capable of creativity, pointing out that the vision of the forum goes beyond traditional ways of honoring the distinguished by proposing innovative activities that dedicate the phenomenon of excellence as an important social and cultural condition.

In a statement to SANA reporter, Imad al-Omar, member of the Executive Office of the National Union of Syrian Students, the opening of the forum confirms that students continue to achieve academic excellence and contribute to the reconstruction of Syria, in addition to focusing on excellence as a civilized and cultural situation, benefiting from the experiences and expertise of distinguished students, identifying the difficulties and challenges facing them and helping them to bypass it.

SANA’s camera monitored the opinions of a number of participating students. The student, Zulfikar Yasser Deribati, from the Faculty of Law at the University of Damascus, stated that holding the forum is an important step to motivate participating students and contribute to exchanging knowledge and experiences and benefiting from them in the labor market for the reconstruction of Syria.

Aya Arabi, a graduate of the Second College of Education in As-Suwayda Governorate, said that the forum was an incentive for the participating students to provide more excellence, creativity and knowledge and cultural exchange, while Melia Nissani from Al-Baath University explained that she was proud of her participation in the forum, which is an incentive for progress and creativity.

Eng. Fayez Al-Hasno from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Aleppo pointed out the interest in the distinguished and encouraging them to continue their educational attainment through the training and practical courses that are held.

The forum was attended by Dr. Maher Karman, President of Aleppo University, Dr. Ibrahim Hadid, Secretary of the Aleppo University Branch of the party, and Yasser Gawish, President of the National Union of Syrian Students, Aleppo University Branch.
