PRISA Media reinforces its video strategy and incorporates Lacoproductora as a production and project development unit

PRISA Media has reinforced its video area with the incorporation of an executive production and project development unit around Lacoproductora, with which it had been collaborating externally.

With the agreement reached, Lacoproductora is fully integrated into PRISA Media's Video structure to carry out tasks of creating formats, marketing and producing audiovisual products.

The PRISA Media Video area, directed by Fran Llorente, who joined the group two months ago, will develop and coordinate the group's various audiovisual activities with the design of new content and digital formats for the different PRISA Media titles such as EL PAÍS , As, Cinco Días, the SER channel and the group's various international music channels, and will promote new projects in coordination with PRISA AUDIO.

In parallel, PRISA Media's audiovisual strategy in the field of production will promote collaboration with other production companies and distribution operators for the creation of original products based on the content generated by the group's different media, for distribution on different platforms.

The co-producer will market original PRISA Media productions in formats such as fiction series, documentaries or feature films also based on the same content.

Currently, Lacoproducer already works regularly with different global platforms, such as Netflix, HBO Max or Amazon Prime Video, and with most of the national operators such as Movistar Plus+, Atresmedia or RTVE.
