Tegernsee – Extensive investments are planned for Tegernsee by 2025 – without loans.

The reserves are largely used up for this purpose.

The members of the administrative and financial committee discussed the first draft of the investment program for 2022 in Tegernsee and the financial plan, which runs until 2025, in advance at their meeting in January, explained treasurer Jürgen Mienert.

"No new borrowing is planned for 2022 or in subsequent years," he said.

"If things go according to plan, most of the city's reserves will be used up by the end of 2024." In the following year, an amount could probably be added again, but the amount is still open.

Investments of almost 10 million euros are planned for 2022.

In the following year it should be 4.65 million euros and in 2024 around 4.54 million euros.

For the year 2025, the investment sum will drop to around 3.29 million euros.

The treasurer then explained point by point to the city councilors present what he had planned for the city over the next few years:

  • Town hall:

EUR 205,000 is planned this year to repair the town hall on the B307, including equipping offices and laying new floors, renovating the exterior facade on the south side and installing bicycle racks with charging stations.

530,000 euros are to be invested in the town hall in 2023.

Mainly to convert boardroom, library and reading room.

  • Fire brigade:

One of the major projects in Tegernsee these days is the construction of the new fire station on Hochfeldstrasse.

4.75 million euros have been budgeted for this year and another 2.5 million euros in the following year.

In return, the city will receive government grants of 820,000 euros.

In addition, 465,000 euros will be spent in 2022 to procure a new Iveco LF 16/12 fire engine.

Here, too, a state subsidy of 100,000 euros is expected.

The fire brigade contributes the same amount again.

  • Schools, sports and social affairs:

The primary school is to receive a broadband connection in 2023.

The costs for this are expected to amount to 60,000 euros, explained Jürgen Mienert.

Here, too, he expects a state subsidy of 45,000 euros.

The city will contribute 100,000 euros to the conversion of the crèche in the Reisberger Hof.

It is also planned for 2022 to invest 35,000 euros in the playground at Schwaighof.

The city expects 40,000 euros for the irrigation system for the grass playing field on the Point sports field.

  • Traffic:

740,000 euros are to be spent this year on road construction, lighting and cleaning as well as watercourses and hydraulic engineering.

Among other things, 70,000 euros are planned for electronic information boards at bus stops - half of which is to be financed by a state subsidy.

Furthermore, the cobblestones on Kaltererplatz are also to be renewed in 2022 for 150,000 euros.

Plans for 2025 include extending the sidewalk on Neureuthstrasse between Lieberhofweg and the entrance to the car park and repaving the road itself.

    Cost point: 100,000 euros.

This work depends on when the Almdorf will be built.

  • Water supply:

Around 1.6 million euros are planned for this area by 2025.

The biggest point here are various lines in the city area that are to be renewed.

The refurbishment or new construction of the Tuften elevated tank is included with 2.75 million euros.

After Jürgen Mienert's presentation, there was no need for discussion for the city councilors present.

They unanimously approved the investment program and the financial plan up to 2025.

Mayor Johannes Hagn expressly thanked the chamberlain for his good work and careful planning.
