First Deputy Speaker of the Russian State Duma Alexander Zhukov announced that his country's government has prepared a plan to counter the economic and financial measures imposed by the West against Russia.
In statements to reporters today in Moscow, Zhukov said that the State Duma will discuss tomorrow this important plan set by the government to support the Russian economy in the conditions of the crisis resulting from the economic and financial war waged by the West against Russia.
Western countries had imposed a wide package of economic and financial sanctions on Russia in an attempt to pressure it after the special operation it was implementing to protect Donbass, to which Moscow responded with similar measures.
