In the letter, the ambassador noted that Iran had recently launched 12 long-range missiles capable of carrying nuclear weapons and three research satellites, thus blatantly violating Security Council resolutions.

"From footage collected from Iranian media, we estimate that the maneuver included a technique that complicates and burdens ballistic missile defense systems. During this maneuver, Revolutionary Guards commander Hussein Salami, in collaboration with militants and other Iranian officials, made explicit threats against the State of Israel," he wrote.
