End the ban on dancing: young people can party again.

The club operators are already prepared.

Dorfen

– This is what the party scene has been waiting for: Clubs and bars are allowed to reopen after the long Corona break.

As of today, Friday, the young people in Dorfen can finally dance again.

Whether in the E3 or in the Tonwerk – the party mood increases.

The Tonwerk even finally opens its new club: the "Heizwerk".

There, the premiere was pushed back further and further due to the pandemic.

Today, at “Opening Part I”, the premiere is finally being celebrated with music from house to techno.

With "Part II" and "Mixed Clubsound" it continues on Saturday.

"Further appointments will follow," promises Managing Director Andreas Wagner.

Robert Eicher, co-owner of the E3, remembers the short restart in late autumn 2021.

“One man, in his 20s, was doing back-and-forth door-to-counter flick flacks.

Out of sheer joy that there is finally something going on here again.” The Dorfen restaurateur and his partner Ernst Hennel are expecting a lot of party people again.

Because on Friday DJ Balu & DJ Stocki will be hanging up in the Eiskeller - "Reopening", that's what Eicher calls clubbing, after months of the ban on dancing.

On Thursday, the "Shine Bar" in the Tonwerk opened for the "Welcome Back Restart Party" with DJ Stocki.

Clubs open again: target group 20 to 30 year olds

The target group of the club's operations are the 20 to 30-year-olds, says Tobias Maier: "Everyone who starts life fresh after school and training - until family obligations catch up with them," says Maier, who has been one of three managing directors at Tonwerk for the last two and a half years was and is now involved in the E3.

Maier is a DJ, party organizer and has organized street food markets.

Under the stage names Jean Blanc and Sonnengruss, the 29-year-old is enjoying great success in Germany and Europe.

He currently wants to start his own business with the "Bar Amore" in Dorfen's city centre. "The variety of cafés, bars and restaurants is good for Dorfen, the more events, the better for the scene," says Maier.

A competitive mentality among the landlords and organizers in Isenstadt – he finds that absurd.

"There's room for everyone - after all, one benefits from the other." For example, the restaurant that visitors go to before an event in the Jakobmayer - and later the bar for a nightcap, after cabaret or the cinema.

"The busier it is, the more people from outside are drawn to Dorfen."

Reopening of Clubs: Most staff are returning

In any case, clubs and discos increase the quality of life, says the 51-year-old Eicher, who was behind the bar of the Dorfen youth center at a young age and has remained true to the restaurant business ever since - despite the dry spell caused by the pandemic.

The catering industry in particular has suffered badly from the Corona measures - first and foremost the clubs and bars, which are only now allowed to open again.

"It was tough getting through," sums up Eicher, "but at least getting through."

A lot of staff have left in these two years: "It was a fine line the whole time - we were always able to open again at short notice, then it was said again: Now it's over." But the majority of the employees have now agreed again, now there is a lot of work waiting on the organizers.

"I'm so happy," says Eicher.

The landlord is now hoping for a permanent perspective.

And to many events in the ice cellar.

For many years, bands from a wide range of musical genres and cabaret artists have been on stage here and provided rocking, grooving and funny nights.

He also advertises that the basement, complete with technology and staff, can be rented for private purposes.

For example for birthday parties, weddings and corporate events.
