Brandenburg: Tesla approval is a big step forward

According to Prime Minister Dietmar Woidke (SPD), the approval of the factory of US electric car manufacturer Tesla in Brandenburg is a big step in the economic future of the state.

Around two years after the start of construction, the Brandenburg State Environment Agency gave the green light for the factory in terms of environmental law.
"This approval process was a mammoth task for us," said Woidke.
The production of the first cars can only take place after acceptance, when the necessary requirements have been met.
The notice is 536 pages long, and all of the associated documents are over 23,700 pages long.
