The second case of illegal puppy transport within a few weeks occupies the animal shelter Feucht.
The helpers feed several puppies - and ask for help.
Feucht - It was not until the beginning of February that the Humid animal shelter (Nuremberg region) took in six puppies from abroad.
The animals were confiscated due to missing papers and vaccinations.
"It makes me cry," the shelter complained on Facebook.
The puppies were transported much too young and in a small cardboard box full of feces.
Four of the puppies were in very poor condition and barely touched food.
"We unpack everything that the dwarves might like and hope so much that everyone makes it through this time!"
Illegal puppy transport: Second case within a few weeks in the Nuremberg area
A few days later the next challenge: The Hersbruck animal shelter freed 115 cats smeared with feces from a small apartment in the Nuremberg region.
The animal shelter Feucht agreed to take in 40 of them.
Then the next case last week: Customs rescued an Aussie puppy from an illegal transport on the A6.
The vaccination status was not correct for this puppy either.
"Together with the transport puppies from the beginning of February, our quarantine is now full," writes the shelter on Facebook.

Illegal puppy transport: quarantine full - animal shelter Feucht asks for donations
Since the quarantine of the dogs is associated with enormous costs and personnel, the animal shelter is asking for help.
"Our transport puppies are hungry," the animal rights activists begin an appeal on Facebook.
"If you would like to support us, we would be very happy about wet puppy food for the little ones."
Sheets and blankets are no longer needed at the moment.
We were overwhelmed by the willingness to help.
"Now our laundry store is bursting at the seams and we no longer know what to do with it." But monetary donations are still welcome.
“Then we can also meet special needs.
For example, if a dog has an allergy and is only allowed to eat certain foods," explains animal shelter manager Ulrike Lang

The animal shelter asks you to refrain from inquiries regarding placement of the puppies or the freed cats.
"As soon as mediation begins, there will be current pictures on our website," the animal rights activists said.
