Düsseldorf wins the Table Tennis Champions League again

Defending champion Borussia Düsseldorf has once again won the Table Tennis Champions League.

After beating 1. FC Saarbrücken 3-0 in the first leg, the German record champions also defeated their Bundesliga rivals 3-1 in the second leg of the semi-finals on Thursday evening and thus made it into a final that will no longer be played.

Düsseldorf - Also on Thursday evening, the European table tennis association ETTU announced that all Russian clubs would also be excluded from international competitions because of the attack on the Ukraine.

Since the two Russian representatives Fakel Orenburg and UMMC Jekaterinburg were in the second semi-final, the final victory now goes to the Düsseldorf team without a fight.

Borussia won the Champions League for the seventh time.
