The Iranian President's Assistant for Parliamentary Affairs, Mohammad Hosseini, confirmed that the Iranian side will not engage in any direct negotiations with the United States before reaching an agreement in the Vienna negotiations.
Hosseini said in a statement today that "Iran has red lines in the Vienna negotiations and will not retreat from them," adding that "Western countries insist on the Iranian delegation to enter into direct negotiations with its American counterpart before reaching the agreement, but there is no need for this issue."
Earlier, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian confirmed Iran's readiness to finalize a good and immediate agreement in the Vienna talks, pointing out that the announcement of the final agreement is subject to full compliance with the red lines announced by Iran, including the issue of effective economic guarantees.
