The dust storm that hit Al-Hasakah Governorate yesterday led to the exit of the 230-kV electric tension line.

In a statement to SANA reporter Bayin, General Manager of Al-Hasakah Electricity Company, Eng. Anwar Okla, that the company’s workshops are examining the route of the tension line from Al-Raqqa governorate to Al-Hasakah to determine the location of the fault and begin repairing it to recharge the electricity as soon as possible, since the line is the main feeder for the cities and countryside of Al-Hasakah.
He pointed out that the company will currently provide electrical feeding to the service lines that are excluded from the electrical rationing programs "water, hospitals, bakeries and communications" from the quantities produced in the Swedish generation facility pending the repair of the "Tabaqa-doors" tension line.
