It was with this new volume to complete what we consider to be a triptych.
Indeed, our ambition is to offer through these three dictionaries a panorama of the great political ideas that dominate our time and of which the presidential election, despite the chaotic nature of the beginnings of the campaign, is a reflection.
Let's be honest, it would be reconstructing history and making a beautiful anachronism to say that when the
Dictionary of Conservatism started,
in January 2017, we had such an ambitious project in mind.
Its obviousness imposed itself as we were completing this first volume.
How to be satisfied with it to seize the debates of the time without comparing conservatism with populism, with which it was moreover regularly associated by Emmanuel Macron, himself a promoter of progressivism…
