A group of food and handicraft industries, antiques and artistic drawings formed the content of the exhibition on micro-projects hosted by the Hall of the Church of Jesus the King for the Capuchin Fathers in Suwayda.

The exhibition, which is organized by the Jana Sustainable Development Team, under the title “My Mother’s Stories” on the occasion of International Women’s Day and Mother’s and Teacher’s Day, will continue until the ninth of this month, and will witness the participation of 20 micro-entrepreneurs, most of whom are women.

The Jana Team Foundation for Sustainable Development in As-Suwayda, Janet Abboud, indicated in a statement to SANA reporter that the exhibition is in line with the team's objectives to support and encourage the establishment of small and micro projects and highlight them based on their importance in supporting the local economy and empowering women in these difficult economic conditions.

Abboud indicated that the exhibition, which was also accompanied by dedicating a part of it to displaying a group of books issued by various publishing houses, became a permanent window that is launched monthly in cooperation and coordination with the Church that encourages these projects and market their works.

During their participation in the exhibition, Rand Al-Maghoush indicated that she presented a group of food handicrafts, and the exhibition constituted an important outlet for her to introduce her production, and she, along with other participants, received all the support of the Church of Jesus the King of the Capuchin Fathers and the Jana Sustainable Development Team.

Meanwhile, the war-wounded Hazem Nasr, who launched his project last year with the support of the Rayaat Al Martyrs Association, expressed his happiness at participating in exhibitions, including this exhibition, to present his products of accessories made of (epoxy resin).
