A 76-year-old male patient at Caritas Hospital was admitted to the emergency room due to fainting on Friday (March 4), and his rapid test for the new coronavirus was positive.
The patient was later found to have left the hospital without notice.
After Caritas Hospital found that the patient had left on his own, at about 2 pm on Saturday (March 5), security guards were dispatched to search the entire hospital and nearby areas and call the police for help.
The hospital attaches great importance to the incident and will fully cooperate with the police search operation.
The patient is approximately 1.65 m tall, of medium build, with short white hair.
The patient was wearing a black cap, dark green jacket, black trousers and sneakers when leaving the A&E department.
The hospital appeals to the public to call Cheung Sha Wan Police Station on 3661 1644 or 999 if they find the patient.
