Geretsried/Wolfratshausen – Because the accused massively insulted a paramedic and also struck a young paramedic, a 65-year-old had to answer to the district court.

A whopping 42 entries – including those relating to trespassing, insults, intentional bodily harm, coercion and drunk driving – were in the defendant's criminal record before the hearing.

Perhaps that was the main reason why the 65-year-old didn't want to be tried again and had to be brought to the police 45 minutes late.

Downed a bottle of whiskey the night before the court hearing

Judge Helmut Berger immediately demanded that an alcohol test be carried out, which showed a high value of 1.8 per mille in the morning.

"I had another bottle of whiskey last night," the man apologized.

He was also clearly under the influence of alcohol on October 6, 2021 when two police officers met him around 2 p.m. near a bus stop on Böhmerwaldstrasse.

"He was on the ground and refused to take a breathalyzer test," said a 34-year-old police officer.

Because he and his colleague had often noticed the man in a drunken state, they first put him on a bench at the bus stop.

Accused insulted paramedics: "You are too stupid to f..."

The paramedics, who arrived later, encountered considerable resistance.

When a then 25-year-old wanted to examine the accused, he raised his arms several times and hit her.

Like her male colleague, she was massively insulted.

"He said to us: You medics are too stupid to f...", the paramedic remembered.

The reason was also the refusal to drive the accused to his desired destination in Wolfratshausen.

"We're not a bus company," the paramedic replied.

When you want to hit someone who wants to help you, a line has been crossed

The accused then got out of the ambulance and shortly afterwards got on the bus to Wolfratshausen.

"I have no idea how that could have happened," the convicted Geretsrieder apologized.

He pointed out that he had downed a bottle of liquor and taken several pills that day due to severe pain in his feet.

The public prosecutor still considered him to be sane because he got out of the ambulance on his own and then took the bus to Wolfratshausen.

Because of insult, attempted coercion and attempted bodily harm, she demanded a prison sentence of five months.

Judge Helmut Berger followed this request.

"If you want to hit someone who wants to help you, a limit has been crossed," he justified his verdict.

The accused, who appeared without a lawyer, did not want to accept this and asked for a fine.

"I'm going to appeal immediately," he announced.

Since the unemployed person was also noticed a few weeks before the hearing in the bakery of a Geretsried supermarket because of insults and being heavily intoxicated, another district court hearing awaits him shortly.
