Hezbollah condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist bombing that targeted a mosque in the northwestern Pakistani city of Peshawar last night.
The party said in a statement: "We condemn in the strongest terms this horrific crime and renew our call to all religious bodies, authorities and institutions to play their role in rejecting this deviant and extremist ideology, exposing its falsehood and fighting it."
The party called for the prosecution of the terrorists who are behind this bombing, the most severe penalties imposed on them, and the maximum possible measures to protect places of worship and prevent the recurrence of these crimes.
The terrorist bombing in a mosque in northwest Pakistan killed 56 people, in addition to wounding 194 others.
