Hundreds began a protest march tonight (Saturday) from Habima Square in Tel Aviv to the Russian embassy in the city, to demonstrate their support for Ukraine and call on Russia to end the war.
At the same time, about a hundred protesters against the invasion of Ukraine came to the home of Prime Minister Naftali Bennett in Raanana.
The demonstrators hold "We need peace", "We support Ukraine", "Stop the Holocaust in Ukraine" signs and are wrapped in Ukrainian and Israeli flags.
They shout in Russian and sing "No to the war in Ukraine" and "No to Putin's dictatorship."

Bennett met today with President Putin in Moscow, and the two were discussed for more than two and a half hours.
During Saturday, Bennett secretly went to Moscow and discussed with Putin the fighting in Ukraine and the possibility of a ceasefire.
A senior Israeli official said that the Prime Minister's Office had updated the White House in advance on Bennett's trip to Moscow.
The fighting continued today in Ukraine, the tenth day of the war.
In the early morning the port city of Mariupol was besieged by Russian forces.
Russia has declared a temporary ceasefire for five hours from 09:00, to allow humanitarian corridors from the Ukrainian cities of Vlnobha and Mariupol.
However, the Ukrainians reported that Russia continued to shell during the ceasefire, calling on civilians to stay in shelters.
