Today, the Russian Foreign Ministry summoned the US ambassador to Moscow and handed him a note of protest against (the provocative and aggressive statements of US Senator Lindsey Graham against President Vladimir Putin).
The department warned the US ambassador that Graham's comments "represent an attack that the Russian criminal law considers an infringement on a statesman's life, with dire consequences, including prosecution," stressing that Washington's failure to take action on Senator Graham's words would seriously damage relations.
Last Thursday night, US Senator Lindsey Graham incited the assassination of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
