The demonstrators are blocking the light rail axis and causing the train services to stop.
Hundreds of passengers got stuck at stations.
The police have difficulty dispersing the protesters, and at this stage use only cavalry

Hundreds of ultra-Orthodox demonstrators tonight (Sunday) at the Jaffa / Sheri Yisrael intersection in Jerusalem and block the light rail.
This, in protest of the arrest of a deserter who the military court is expected to rule on tomorrow.
Four protesters were arrested, thousands of passengers and hundreds of cars stuck at the entrance to the city.
Police said they were "working to repel the rioters through measures to disperse riots."
Road 1 from the Shorb interchange to the east is blocked to traffic, and police direct traffic through the Arazim tunnel.

Rabbi Simcha Bonam Teitelbaum was arrested after defecting from military service.
The verdict is expected tonight or tomorrow, after a hearing lasting several hours.
The ultra-Orthodox are protesting against the draft law, which they say is "the law of destruction that knocked down spaces from the study halls."
