Starnberg – After a long break, the Repair Café of the Starnberg Seniors' Meeting will open its doors again on Saturday, March 12, in the Ilse-Kubaschewski-Haus at Hanfelder Straße 10.
From 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., volunteer repairmen try to fix smaller and larger defects in small electrical appliances, small pieces of furniture, toys and other objects.
Sometimes it's just little things, a defective solder joint, a broken cable, a small defective component that put a device out of order.
If you know how, it can be restored.
Throwing away was yesterday, repairing is today.
According to this motto, the repairers, together with those who bring in defective items and do not want to replace them with a new one, try to take a stand against the "throw-away mentality".
