The creations of Syrian women in various specializations and fields of plastic art, including sculpture, drawing, photography and handicrafts, were manifested in an exhibition entitled (My Daughter and Me) at the Arab Cultural Center in Abu Rummaneh.

Seventeen plastic artists participated in the exhibition, whose works varied on different topics, most of which focus on the relationship between mother and daughter, as well as the variety of tools, techniques and methods used.

Zaka Al-Kahal, coordinator of the fifth (Female Experiences) exhibition, indicated in a statement to SANA that the aim of the event is to display the works of artists whose circumstances do not allow them to participate in exhibitions, where women from specializations such as engineering, pharmacy, medicine and others participate, noting that the exhibition is an invitation to every woman who has talent.

The plastic artist, Sham Sheikh Jabr, a mechanical design engineering student, participated in a painting that embodied Palmyra and its ancient monuments, and Queen Zenobia recalled a painting that her mother had drawn since she was a child, using acrylic. She noted that her first participation was at the age of seventeen.

The plastic artist, Doaa Al-Bastati, proved through her permanent participation that she is a creative artist by all standards and she defied her circumstances and proved that she can reach the world despite losing her arms and participated in the exhibition with two paintings through which she was painted on the glass in which she embodied titles about the sister who cares for her little brother after the loss of the mother and another work on the child orphan;

The plastic artist, Bana Shabib, participated in two sculptures, the first embodied a group of tired people due to different social conditions, and the second dealt with two figures from the community and left the opportunity for the recipient to name the work as he wanted and indicated that she relies on gypsum in her work.

The educator, Afaf Al-Nabwani, participated in the painting of the scarecrow, using acrylic.

Digital Art had a distinguished presence through the participation of plastic artist Aya Safia (Architecture) with three paintings of different sizes, one of which embodied the greatness of the universe and space, and two paintings that represented portraits of different faces.
