Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak warned that the West's abandonment of Russian oil would lead to dire consequences for the global market.
And the Russian TASS news agency quoted Novak as telling reporters: It is absolutely clear that abandoning Russia's oil will lead to serious consequences for the global market, expecting that the price of a barrel will reach more than 300 dollars.
Novak called on European politicians to warn their citizens and consumers of what awaits them because the prices of fuel, electricity and heating will rise dramatically, which in turn affects other markets, including the American markets, noting that it is impossible to quickly replace Russia's oil in the European market, as it will take more than a year and it will be More expensive for European consumers who will be the primary victims in this scenario.
Novak stressed that Moscow has the ability to redirect its exports from the European market if the West abandons Russian oil.
