The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Faisal Al-Miqdad, affirmed that Syria was subjected to terrorist aggression from Western countries and to a stifling siege that caused the suffering of the Syrian people.
Al-Miqdad said in an interview with Al-Mayadeen TV that the Turkish regime continues to support terrorist organizations in Syria in violation of the Charter of the United Nations, pointing out that the US occupation continues to loot Syria's wealth of oil and wheat on the Syrian island, and Syria is determined to liberate every speck of soil from its occupied lands.
Miqdad added that: Syria is keen to strengthen joint Arab action to serve the Arab peoples.
With regard to the crisis in Ukraine, Al-Miqdad said: We supported Russia in its military operation in Ukraine by confronting the West's measures that threaten its national security, stressing that the West continues to support Nazism and terrorism and continues its attempts to impose global hegemony.
