Another European country has decided to relax the corona measures.
Vacationers no longer have to pay attention to anything when entering the country.
A country full of myths and legends can now be traveled again without corona restrictions: Ireland threw all entry rules overboard on March 6th.
Since the summer of 2021, it has been possible to travel to the "Green Island" again without quarantine, and at the beginning of the year the entry rules for vaccinated and recovered people were relaxed.
Ireland abolishes Corona entry requirements
From now on, vacationers do not have to pay attention to anything when entering Ireland:
Neither proof of vaccination, convalescence or test are still required
, as the Irish tourism portal informs.
There would also be no tests after arrival, nor would there be quarantine measures.
Tourists no longer have to fill out
the
entry form either.
Transport companies will no longer check them, it is said.
This means: When entering the country, the same rules apply again as before the corona pandemic - a valid ID card is sufficient.
However, if you want to enter Ireland via Northern Ireland, you must comply with the entry requirements of the United Kingdom.

According to the health authorities, anyone who develops cold symptoms on site should still be tested for the corona virus and go into self-isolation.
If the test is positive, a seven-day quarantine applies.
After the quarantine, the authority recommends that those affected wear a medical mask or an FFP2 mask in public for another three days.
