What is streetwear?
The question arose when the late Virgil Abloh, appointed to Louis Vuitton in 2018, made this style come from the street (as its name suggests in English), inspired by different subcultures including hip- hop and sport, a major trend in luxury.
Two years later, Abloh prophesied the end of the sweatshirt and the almighty sneaker on the catwalks.
Well, if we are to believe the last Givenchy fashion show, they still have a bright future ahead of them.
