District – The next G7 summit from June 26th to 28th at Schloss Elmau will again be a very special and challenging mission for the Bavarian police.
The extensive preparations are being carried out by a planning staff of the Bavarian police set up by the Bavarian State Ministry of the Interior, for Sport and Integration for this major event.
In close cooperation with federal and state authorities as well as the authorities, institutions and people on site, the Bavarian police will do everything possible to ensure the safe conduct of the meeting of the G7 heads of state and government and the associated assemblies and events.
The Bavarian police are also focusing on keeping disruptions to the population and tourists in the region as low as possible.
Similar to 2015, the people affected should be given the opportunity at an early stage to contact the police to clarify questions or even worries and needs and thus receive information first-hand.
As part of the first public information event for the upcoming G7 summit in Elmau, Bavaria's Minister of the Interior, Joachim Herrmann, gave the go-ahead for the citizens' hotline, the citizens' information homepage and a citizens' information email address for the G7 summit 2022 planning staff of the Bavarian police in the Kurhaus Krün.
"It is an important and central concern for me that the public and in particular the citizens directly affected on site are informed in good time and comprehensively about the G7 summit," emphasizes Herrmann.
With immediate effect, interested citizens, associations, organizations and tradespeople can use the toll-free telephone numbers - both from within Germany and from neighboring Austria - and also by e-mail or the online homepage with a contact form to find out about the measures required by the Bavarian government inform the police.
The citizen hotline 0800 / 7766330 is open on weekdays, Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The citizen hotline from Austria can also be reached on weekdays, Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the number 00800 / 77663300.
