Incidence in Schleswig-Holstein climbs over 1000

The number of infections is still increasing.

Kiel – The seven-day incidence of corona diseases in Schleswig-Holstein climbed above 1000 on Monday: the number of confirmed cases of infection per 100,000 inhabitants in seven days was 1006.5, as can be seen from the data from the Landesmeldestelle Kiel (data status: 6:58 p.m.).

The previous day the value was 954.2, last Monday it was 876.9.

The number of new infections registered rose to 6770 - last Monday it was 4920. In Flensburg the seven-day incidence was even over 2000 - at 2041.5.

In a comparison of the federal states, Schleswig-Holstein is still in fifth place according to the figures from the Robert Koch Institute on Monday morning for the seven-day incidence - behind Bremen, Hamburg, Berlin and Hesse.

The nationwide average is 1259.2.

The number of new patients with Corona admitted to hospitals per 100,000 inhabitants within a week was 5.60 in the north - after 5.92 a week ago.

385 patients were in hospitals related to the coronavirus - 7 fewer than a week earlier.

42 of them were treated in an intensive care unit and ventilated there.

The number of corona deaths since the beginning of the pandemic rose by nine to 2150 on Monday.

In Flensburg, the seven-day incidence was significantly higher than in the other regions: 2041.5.

In more than half of the districts and urban districts, the value is now over 1000. Flensburg is followed by North Friesland (1538.8) and Dithmarschen (1473.2).

The incidence was again lowest in the district of Pinneberg (587.5).
