An earthquake measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale rocked the Fiji Islands in the Pacific Ocean today.
According to the US Geological Survey, the earthquake struck at a depth of 581.81 km, and its epicenter was located at 20.3797 degrees south latitude and 178.4313 degrees west longitude.
There were no reports of casualties or material damage.
