Meuse: three people indicted for heroin trafficking

Three people arrested last Thursday in Verdun (Meuse) were indicted for heroin trafficking and possession of firearms, we learned Monday from the city prosecutor's office.

The Verdun police, in coordination with the Nancy judicial police, then arrested four people on Thursday in two apartments, "

two sites identified as places of dealing

", said the prosecution.

According to the director of the Nancy PJ, Maurice Alibert, the police seized "

a few tens of grams

" of drugs, a firearm and around 3,000 euros in cash.

Of the four arrested, one, described as a consumer, was released on Friday.

Two others were indicted for complicity in drug trafficking: "

drug addicts

" aged around fifty and tenants of the two apartments, the traffic "

was happening at their home

", according to Ms. Partouche.

The fourth, born in 1999, was indicted on Monday and imprisoned: justice will decide on Wednesday on his pre-trial detention, said the prosecutor.

He was already indicted and placed under judicial control "

in two

different cases", she added.
