Netanyahu on nuclear deal: "Iranians fight like lions. Bennett, Lapid and Ganz surrender like rabbits"
The opposition leader said the government was unwilling to confront the Americans about the nuclear deal, thus "reconciling with a nuclear Iran and endangering Israel."
He made the remarks during a meeting of the Likud faction in memory of Begin, and in comparison with his decision to eliminate Iraq's nuclear capability, despite US opposition.

Opposition leader and Likud chairman Benjamin Netanyahu said today (Monday) at the beginning of a Likud faction meeting that "the current government is reconciling with a nuclear Iran and endangering the future of Israel.
" Begin is remembered for his bold decision to eliminate Iraq's nuclear capability despite United States' firm opposition.
Today in the Bennett-Lapid and Ganz government there is only weakness.
"They bowed their heads before the US administration when they agreed to a 'zero-surprise' policy, and when they promised not to publicly attack the United States' nuclear policy."

Netanyahu added that "in this they silenced our protest against the agreement. Bennett-Lapid and Gantz are not ready to confront our friend either as Begin did and as we did in a speech in Congress in 2015. Facing the agreement in Vienna, they are not doing anything. This is what the government should do now. "To vehemently oppose the dangerous agreement that is rushing at our doorstep. Israel's silence takes the wind out of the sails of those in the United States who oppose the agreement."
Netanyahu summed up his remarks by saying that "the Iranians are fighting like lions, Bennett, Lapid and Gantz are surrendering like rabbits. The reality is gloomy and clear - the current government is reconciling with a nuclear Iran and endangering Israel's future."
