In the last municipal council meeting in Poing, the committee unanimously approved the release of Sunday and public holiday shopping
Poing- This is about the spring market on May 29th and October 23rd.
The dates of the market Sundays are regulated by the market determination of the Ebersberg District Office of September 15, 2004.
The spring market takes place every year on the Sunday after Ascension Day and the autumn market every year on the penultimate Sunday before All Saints' Day.
These dates have been agreed with the trade association.
Due to the approval of the Ebersberg district office, the Poinger market will take place in the main, train station, Bürger and Alte Gruber streets as well as the weekly market area in the new town center.
In order for shop owners to be able to open their sales outlets on market days, the municipality of Poing must issue a statutory ordinance for the release of Sundays and public holidays open for sale on the occasion of markets.
These regulations have to be renewed every year.
Sunday opening (11 a.m. to 6 p.m.) must be limited to the following streets: Alte Gruber Straße;
Anzinger Strasse (between Hauptstrasse and Burgermeister-Germeier-Strasse);
Bahnhofstrasse;
Birkenallee (between Hauptstrasse and Eichenweg);
Bürgerstrasse;
Endbachweg (between the main road and the railway underpass);
Friedensstraße (between market square and youth center);
Main road;
market street;
Neufarner Straße (between Hauptstraße and Eichenweg);
Poststrasse and Rathausstrasse.
The opening hours should be outside of the times of the main church services.
In addition, the regulations on employee protection, working hours, youth work protection and maternity protection laws in the currently applicable version must be observed.
