Presidential 2022: Anne Hidalgo's program

Lower VAT, allowances, RIC... Discover the main measures taken by the Socialist Party candidate for the presidency.


The socialist presidential candidate, Anne Hidalgo, mayor of Paris, has embarked on the race for the Élysée.

Its program sweeps away all the problems encountered by the French and insists, above all, on purchasing power and wages, which it wishes to increase.

Economy

  • Work

This is Anne Hidalgo's first measure: the socialist candidate wants to increase wages, by increasing the minimum wage by 15%.

In the same idea, she wants to put an end to salary differences by limiting the gap from 1 to 20 between the highest salary and the lowest salary.

Anne Hidalgo also wants to ensure equal pay between women and men.

It will extend paternity leave to 16 weeks, 6 of which are compulsory.

The socialist candidate wants to repeal the unemployment insurance reform, put in place by the government, to negotiate a new one.
