After having maintained the mystery for many months, the former polemicist and TV columnist came out of the woods in December by announcing his presidential candidacy.
Since then, he has imposed several of his priorities on the campaign: immigration, Islam and even security.

Economy
Labor and purchasing power
Éric Zemmour wants to increase the Smic by 105 euros per month, "thanks to the reduction in social taxes", completely exempt from tax the participation bonus - which he intends to make compulsory for companies with more than 11 employees - and completely exempt from taxes and social charges for overtime.

It thus provides for the creation of a national brigade for the fight against fraud, to impose “systematic” checks on recipients and to suspend fraudsters for five years.
In particular, he wants to set up a vital card with fingerprints to prevent a card from being used by several people.
Éric Zemmour wants to “ensure” that the recipients of social assistance no longer receive more than a minimum wage.
He also wants to deprive offenders and their parents of these social aids when they are minors.

Education
Completed the Ministry of National Education, Éric Zemmour would set up a “great Ministry of Public Instruction” to replace it.
With the desire to "defend the school against ideologies", as he writes in his program, the candidate wishes to ban all forms of ideological propaganda at school, to recruit and train teachers in a "more demanding" way, to multiply bonuses and accelerate merit-based career progression.
Within the school itself, Éric Zemmour wants to restore order.
He thus wants to suspend the family allowances of the parents of disruptive or absentee pupils, to restore the wearing of "the blouse" in primary school, to make the principal education advisers general supervisors whose sole purpose will be to maintain "the school order” and create “reintegration boarding schools” for misbehaving students.
Institution and Europe
From the point of view of the institutions, Éric Zemmour's program is based above all on Europe, where the candidate wants to move away from the law.
Among the measures?
"Regain control" of borders and French migration policy, block the transfer of skills from France to the European Union, put an end to the over-transposition of European rules and give priority to national laws over European law.
Éric Zemmour is not saying no to Europe, however: he is campaigning for the establishment of a European public procurement mechanism allowing each State to reserve a share for its companies, wants to form coalitions of the various States around certain priorities and reorient the European Union towards a Europe of Nations "which respects the dignity of peoples and States".

opposes any enlargement of the European Union and wants to prohibit the display of the European flag without the French flag, a way of rebounding from the controversy over the European flag under the Arc de Triomphe.

Éric Zemmour makes it a priority of his program: Islam.
In this context, he wants to “impose discretion”, “stop indoctrination”, and “prevent foreign influences”.

Elected, he will ban new wind turbine construction projects, on land and at sea. However, he is betting on electricity and wants to develop its use, like that of hydrogen, in public transport.

The candidate wants to increase the French defense budget to 70 billion euros per year by 2030 and consolidate nuclear deterrence.
