Videos | Extreme violence in Mexican sport: Fighting breaks out at a soccer match

A game between Mexican soccer teams Querétaro and Atlas ended on Sunday in scenes of shocking violence.

Fans came to blows in several different areas of La Corregidora stadium, which is located in the center of Mexico.

There were men left naked, covered in blood or out cold due to the violence, while some families were forced to run onto the pitch in a bid to escape the fighting.

The scenes were unprecedented on a soccer field, and served to show the underlying violence in the country.
