A serious accident occurred on Monday night on the A5.
A wrong-way driver crashed his BMW into a minibus.
Two people die.
Ottersweier – A wrong-way driver died after a head-on collision with a minibus, killing another man.
According to initial findings, seven people were injured, some seriously, in the accident on the A5 motorway near Baden-Baden, the police said on Monday.

According to initial police findings, the driver of a BMW registered in the Czech Republic was traveling in the opposite direction of travel on the southern lane of the A5 between the Bühl and Achern junctions at around 12:30 a.m. for reasons that were initially unknown.
There were seven people in the van, a Ford Transit.
One occupant died from his injuries at the scene, police said.
Five other people on the bus were seriously injured and two slightly injured.
The suspected driver succumbed to his injuries some time later in hospital.
The road was closed until just before 7 a.m.
Investigations into the reconstruction of what happened in the accident are ongoing.
A series of accidents occurred in June on the A7 in the district of Ansbach (Bavaria).
