The Syrian Arab People’s Committee for Supporting the Palestinian People and Resisting the Zionist Project, in cooperation with the Al-Quds International Foundation in Syria and the Alliance of Palestinian Forces, held a symposium entitled “The March Revolution and Continuous Renewal” in Dar Al-Baath in Damascus.
Chairman of the Committee Dr. Saber Falhout reviewed the achievements of the March 8 revolution, especially after the correction that laid the foundations of a strong state in all fields in response to the aspirations and needs of the people at all levels.
Researcher Suleiman Haddad, in turn, gave a historical presentation of the period that preceded 1963 and up to the present time, pointing out the importance of peoples benefiting from reading history to achieve development and progress in various fields.
For his part, the Director General of Al-Quds International Foundation - Syria, Dr. Khalaf Al-Muftah, referred to the transformations that were achieved after the March 8 revolution, which established qualitative shifts in all fields, especially the formation of an ideological army that was able to achieve great victories over terrorism and its supporters.
General Director of Dar Al-Baath Press, Media, Publishing and Distribution, Dr. Abdul Latif Omran, pointed out the need to clarify terms and concepts related to the March 8 revolution to preserve what it accomplished, ensure its continued renewal and prevent attempts to distort it.
The interventions of the attendees focused on the importance of holding such events to educate the new generations about the achievements of the 8th of March revolution in Syria.
The symposium was attended by scientific, cultural, student and social events and a group of researchers and interested parties.
