Initially, the offense was attributed to the lawyer's younger brother, 26-year-old Nasser Aslan.
However, after investigating the case, police realized that the suspect in the offense was 30-year-old Rafa Faisal.
Attorneys Moshe Gilad and Shlomi Sharon, representing the family, said: "Mr. Faisal Aslan, known as 'The Great Faisal,' turned his son over to the police through us. Mr. Faisal is aware of the serious suspicions attributed to his son. "His son Rafa did not commit the offenses attributed to him and thus, we are also convinced."
