Former Minister Avraham Hirchson, who passed away this week at the age of 81, was laid to rest today (Tuesday) in the Kfar Shmaryahu cemetery.
Hundreds of people came to accompany him on his final journey alongside his three sons: Ofer, Barak and Elroy.
Among those present were Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai, former Finance Minister Beiga Shochat, businessman Udi Angel and Omri Sharon.
His son Barak wept: "Dear father, I miss you so much. You were the best friend. There was not a day that we did not meet and there was not a time when we did not talk on the phone. You taught me to love the other and help the weak. "Love me as you loved me? You are the greatest love of my life. I loved and loved you more than life. You were a perfect father. Hope I was a good son. I do not know how life goes on without you. Dear God and Mother you will receive him with love and hugs."
Son Alurai eulogized: "You have educated us to be connected together the whole family. My light and my strength algae. You always lifted me up. You always gave and thought of everyone. We part with great sorrow and great pain. I thank God you were my father. I know you will keep me from above." .
Ofer the eldest son eulogized: "You can never be ready for such a thing. His bride Alexa praised him: "Your work and work for Holocaust survivors will remain for generations. You were a father of glory. Thanks to you I learned what a family means. I promise to keep the family united. A year ago, on your 80th birthday, I told you you are like a father to me."
