The NASA rover "Curiosity" regularly sends images to Earth.
An unusual photo of Mars is currently the topic of conversation.
Washington DC - The Mars rover "Curiosity" has been on the red planet for ten years, but it's always good for a surprise.
Since landing in August 2021, the rover has traveled more than 25 kilometers in Gale Crater.
It's tiny details from the surface of Mars that are helping NASA scientists learn more about the planet.
Besides Earth, Mars is the only planet in our solar system where life could have originated.
Mars wasn't always a dry desert planet.
Researchers agree that there was water on Mars.
Stunning Photo: Is This a Petrified Flower on Mars?
NASA has now released a photo of a rock that looks like a flower.
Spherical rock artefacts can be seen next to the "Mars Flower".
The picture was taken on February 24, 2022, the 3,396.

The "flower" is about an inch tall, according to NASA, and was historically cemented into a rock by minerals in the water.
The US space agency also posted the photo on Instagram: "This unusual feature is a concretion eroded from sedimentary rock cemented by mineral-rich groundwater.
Size?
About 1 centimeter.”
The reaction of the followers follows immediately.
Some just get excited about the “flowers on Mars,” leave a “wow,” or heart-eyed emojis.
One user, on the other hand, comments: "It looks like a dead coral."
The Mars rover "Curiosity" has already snapped some such bizarre pictures.
A “strange building” and the interpretation of it made the rounds on social networks in autumn 2021.
Missions on Mars
1997 | landed the "Sojourner", which only communicated with the earth for about three months. |

2004 | The twin rover “Spirit” and “Opportunity” followed. Communication on Spirit was lost in a huge dust storm in 2007, and Opportunity succumbed to the same fate in 2018. |
2012 | landed "Curiosity". The robot became the darling of the public. His team provides scientists and fans with news and photos via social networks. |
2018 | the stationary Nasa lander "InSight" also made it to Mars, and several probes are orbiting the red planet. |
2021 | February "Mars 2020" - NASA mission: "Perseverance" landed on February 18th. |
Life on Mars?
NASA may have made a far-reaching mistake
Is there life on Mars?
At least not what NASA might have hoped to find and certainly not what they were expecting.
Because the US space agency could itself have brought living beings to Mars without noticing it.
