The Lenggries mountain rescue service had to deal with 14 missions on the mountain and in the valley last weekend.

It was about injured skiers, but also about fallen hikers.

Lenggries – The rescue helicopter had to be requested during a mountain rescue operation on Saturday.

At around 9:50 a.m., a 13-year-old skier fell unconscious during the descent.

The youth fell on the Schrödlstein descent and suffered a minor arm injury.

Since the cause of the intermittent unconsciousness was unclear, the Lenggrieser was flown to Murnau with the Christoph 1 rescue helicopter.

Seven missions for the mountain rescuers on Sunday

During the other missions on Saturday, the rescuers primarily had to take care of knee injuries.

On Sunday, the rescuers went to five missions in the ski area and two in the hiking area.

The two teams – one stationed in the valley, the other at Brauneck – were equally busy.

The volunteers were alerted for the first time at around 9:30 a.m.

A dislocated shoulder with a fracture had to be treated at the Tölzer Hütte.

The rescuers took the patient to the cable car with the Skidoo and accompanied him down into the valley.

There they handed him over to the crew of the ambulance.

Seven-year-old falls and injures his foot

As a result, there were two knee injuries to treat at the Finstermünzalm and the Strasseralm.

The mountain rescuers also took care of a seven-year-old boy who fell on the back slope and injured his foot.

Nine-year-old collapses in chairlift

A "ski thumb" is an injury to the medial ligament of the metatarsophalangeal joint.

And that's exactly what a nine-year-old complained about at 10:45 a.m.

His father then made his way back down to the valley with the boy.

However, the nine-year-old collapsed repeatedly in the Ahorn chairlift.

That's why the father alerted the mountain rescue service.

She received the two at the exit.

"After a few minutes in the shock position, the boy stabilized enough for him to start the descent with his father," reports the mountain rescue service.

Severe head injury after a fall while hiking to the Denkalm

The two hiking accidents happened in the afternoon.

Around 3 p.m., a 67-year-old fell on his hike to the Denkalm.

He sustained a serious head injury.

Since he lost consciousness during the transport, the operations manager called for an ambulance.

"Since the emergency room in Bad Tölz had been signed off at that time, the Würzburger was finally flown to Murnau by helicopter," reports the mountain rescue service.

At 5:20 p.m., a 35-year-old fell while descending from Grasleitenstein.

The mountain rescue team took her down to the valley in a vehicle and handed her over to the ambulance with a suspected ankle fracture.
