Endometriosis specialist Emile Daraï, a renowned gynecologist at Tenon Hospital, had already been the subject of an internal investigation since September 20 for acts of gynecological violence.
According to a judicial source contacted by
Le Figaro
who confirms information from Le
Parisien
, the practitioner is now the subject of a judicial investigation for "violence by a person responsible for a public service mission".

The latter was opened on January 3, 2022 following 25 complaints filed for “rape” against the doctor,

Echoing these numerous complaints, and on the occasion of International Women's Rights Day, the collective "Stop Gynecological and Obstetrical Violence" called for a demonstration on Tuesday March 8 in front of the Tenon hospital, at 5 p.m.
A rally which aims in particular to demand the suspension of Professor Daraï.
Formerly head of department and educational manager, the gynecologist had been “
withdrawn
” from Tenon hospital on October 8.
Emile Daraï had for his part indicated via the AP-HP "
to dispute the facts of which he is accused and to challenge remarks which he considers defamatory
".
