With the participation of 100 national industrial companies, the activities of the family market will be launched next Thursday in the city of Duma in the countryside of Damascus within the monthly shopping festival “Made in Syria”, which is organized by the Damascus industry and its countryside in cooperation with the Damascus Countryside Chamber of Commerce and the Al-Wafa Development Association and will continue until the 16th of this month.
Member of the Board of Directors of the Damascus and Rural Chamber of Industry, Mr. Talal Qalaaji, explained in a statement to SANA reporter that the chamber is working to expand the establishment of a monthly shopping festival in regions, cities and towns, so that industrialists can sell their products directly to consumers at competitive prices and break the mediation and monopoly rings in light of the high prices.
Qala Ji pointed out that the festival, which will be held within the Al-Tawhid Mosque hall in Douma, is witnessing, in its current session, cooperation with the Al-Wafa Charity Development Association, which provides job opportunities for about 300 women from Douma who do handicrafts and handicrafts.
