Cathy Hummels makes a strong statement on Instagram: The TV presenter wants to take refugee orphans into her home.

Munich - Since February 24, it has been a sad reality: war - in the middle of Europe.

Countless people have since left the country and are looking for shelter in other countries due to the absolute state of emergency.

But that's not easy at all - numerous refugee accommodations are already overburdened, which is why private individuals are now being encouraged to act.

Cathy Hummels (34) has therefore now made it publicly clear that she will take in refugees, as reported by tz.de.

On Instagram, she has now made it clear that her doors are always open to refugees.

Cathy Hummels wants to give refugee orphans a home

"I'll open my door.

I'm setting an example and I can't expect anything from others that I don't do myself

," the 34-year-old said in her Instagram story on March 7th.

She also clarifies:

“I want to give orphans a home in my house.

I stand up for those who can't do anything about this war and don't even have parents to protect them.

I'll keep you up to date.” A strong statement that will certainly also inspire many of her fans to think and act.
