The Somali army announced today the elimination of 10 terrorists from the extremist Al-Shabab movement linked to the terrorist organization Al-Qaeda during a military operation in the south of the country.
The Xinhua news agency quoted Ismael Sheikh Ishaq, deputy commander of the Somali army's infantry, as saying: "The army forces carried out the operation near the town of Jamami, killing ten militants and arresting six others."
Somalia has witnessed, for years, suicide terrorist attacks and attacks carried out by the extremist Somali Al-Shabab movement linked to the terrorist Al-Qaeda organization, which resulted in hundreds of victims.
