Tonight (Wednesday to Thursday) at 00:00 (Israel time), Sony broadcast a State of Play event that lasted about 20 minutes and revealed all the games that will arrive in the near future.

The broadcast focused mainly on the Japanese distributors and although there was no reason to think we would get trailers for games like God of War or Spider-Man, we did get a surprise in the form of an update to the Returnal game.

So what did we have?

Exoprimal

The broadcast opens with the exposure trailer of Exoprimal, a group shooting game for five players on the network from Capcom, which introduces us to a world attacked by dinosaurs (instead of zombies. Original) and the players use sophisticated robotic suits and advanced weapons.

The game will be released for the PlayStation 4 and 5, for the Xbox Series X \ S and for the PC during 2023.

Ghostwire Tokyo

The new game from Bethesda and Tango Gameworks that brought us The Evil Within Games is getting a new trailer right ahead of its release during the month on 25.3.

After Tokyo residents mysteriously disappeared, mysterious creatures from another world began to invade the city and the players have to fight through telekinesis and telepathy abilities.

The game will be released for PC and PlayStation 5 console.

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin

The demo of the new game in the Final Fantasy series is now available for download.

The game will be a kind of remake of the first Final Fantasy game released back in the NES era, but will tell the plot in a slightly different way.

It will be released next week on March 18 for the PlayStation 4 and 5, the Xbox One, the Series X \ S and the PC.

Forspoken

Square Enix's new game gets a gameplay trailer that only increases the hype and makes us even more upset that the title was recently postponed from its original release date from May to October 11th.

Will be released for PlayStation 5 for PC.

Gundam Evolution

The famous Mecha brand gets a fast-paced multiplayer game of six players against six other players with three competitive modes: Point Capture, Domination and Destruction.

Players will be able to choose from 12 different characters, each with advantages and disadvantages in defense and offense.

The game will be free and will be released later this year for the PlayStation 4 and 5, the Xbox One and the Series X \ S and the PC.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection

A new collection that includes all 13 classic ninja turtles from the 8th and 16th Beats of the eighties and nineties: arcade classics like Turtles in Time, Ninja Turtles fighting games, and even some mobile games from the Game Boy console.

All games will feature new HD textures, adjustments to modern resolutions, and the option to play co-op with friends on the couch or online.

Kawabanga certainly.

It will be released later this year for the PlayStation 4 and 5.

GigaBash

A four-player game (also online) that features Kaiju battles (for those unfamiliar with the term, think of Godzilla) and gives players control over giant monsters fighting against each other in demolition arenas.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R

A remake of the beating game from 2013 that was originally released for the PlayStation 3 and is based on the absurd and popular anime.

It will feature 50 different characters and is made with quite a bit of style, grace and visual fidelity to the original, and the battle mechanics have been refurbished and invite a new and old cast alike.

There is no doubt that anyone familiar with the anime (or even the mime running online) will enjoy it.

It will be released later this year for the PlayStation 4 and 5.

Trek To Yomi

The indie game that features sword fights inspired by the two-dimensional Ghost of Tsushima game gets a new gameplay trailer.

It will be released later this year for the PlayStation 4 and 5, the Xbox One, the Series X \ S and the PC.

Returnal: Ascension

Did you like Sony's Roguelike game?

Now you can play a joint co-op campaign with your friends and try to survive together.

The new update also brings with it a mode called Tower of Sisyphus that puts players in front of endless waves of opponents as each stage becomes more and more difficult until the players eventually reach exhaustion.

The update will be available for download on March 22nd.

The DioField Chronicle
