Christian Jürgens is now the only three-star chef in Bavaria

There are three starred restaurants at Tegernsee.

All have retained their status in the new "Michelin Guide" for 2022 - and Christian Jürgens is now the only three-star chef in Bavaria.

– Christian Jürgens is the king of chefs in Bavaria: In the “Michelin Guide” for 2022, the Überfahrt Christian Jürgens gourmet restaurant will keep its three stars, but this time it is the only one in Bavaria in this category.

Three star chefs at Tegernsee

A year ago, the studio in the Bayerischer Hof in Munich was also able to adorn itself with three stars.

All star chefs in the Tegernsee valley have defended their status - and they are all based in Rottach-Egern.

Thomas Kellermann was awarded a star by the Dichterstub'n, as was Alois Neuschmid with the Haubentaucher restaurant.

The restaurant guide lists a total of 67 starred restaurants across Bavaria, ten more than in the previous year.
